For three years I watched a friend of mine come home with big bucks from Kansas. He would pull up in my driveway to show me and it drove me absolutely nuts. I jumped at the chance when he asked me to go to Kansas to hunt with Chikaskia outfitters. This place was all I heard about for three years prior to my hunt in 2005. My friend could not go with me so I traveled down there by myself thinking I did not know the area, I would not have any luck. Well I got down there and Dave took care of me, he put me in a different tree stand everyday which I enjoyed the most. I saw so many bucks over a five day period. I had a chance at some nice ones too and some were just too far away like a big 9 pt that was out about 70 yds at 10:00 am for 15 minutes, Dave showed me pictures of this buck before I hunted this area , I had beautiful 8 pts out there also. I finally took a 120 inch buck on my fifth day, It was not the largest deer that came by me but I was happy with him because he was the largest buck I have taken with my bow. This year I hope to improve on this. I would highly recommend this outfitter and his properties to anyone. You will not be disappointed.
